I thought seeing as some of the members of The Drop Crew are returning from their epic adventure out in Detroit for this years Movement Festival, what better way to introduce their aftermath post than with a tech house legend’s two latest tracks. Nic Fanciulli pulls out all his gusto, and gets us rocking and moving in the classic deep house, tech house stylings that dance music originated from. This years Movement Festival hit record numbers with over 100 thousand people in attendance throughout its 3 days. This festival illustrates the diversity that music festivals can have, similar to Lollapalooza and Coachella, but with a nice underground dance twist. There were a vast array of artists present, some that you might never of thought would even think of performing at a dance music festival like Public Enemy.
Fanciulli’s new tracks are called ‘Movin’ On’ and ‘Round & Round’ and of course are trademark to his exquisite dance production mastery. You cant go wrong with these two tracks if your looking for music that will jut straight take over and leave you with nothing to look for. Other tracks in the Electro/Progressive house genres have a more systematic approach that leads you to feel that drop coming, but with Fanciulli and other Tech House producers this music is all about the moment and fluidity. I really recommend opening your horizons up if you haven’t been touched by the Tech House genre yet, because this is where real dance music began!
