It would be highly unnecessary for me to tell you about A-Trak‘s talents as a producer and turntable DJ, as you should all be fully aware of his capabilities in both realms. However, A-Trak has taken his production to an absolute new level with his new remix of Martin Solveig‘s ‘The Night Out’. His recent production has certainly come with more of an electro sound than his past repertoire, (but then again, whose hasn’t?) particularly with his ‘Dub for Mehdi’ mix of ‘How Deep Is Your Love?’ and original record ‘Stingray’. But, ‘The Night Out’ is on a whole new level of straight filth. As I’ve talked in great depth about the recent ‘electro-wobble’ sound taking over dance music, this new remix encapsulates just that, and is perhaps one of the best examples of this style. Take a listen to the preview below. A-Trak’s remix of ‘The Night Out’ is set to release in April as a part of Martin Solveig’s EP. I’ve included several of A-Trak’s latest records that embody the distinct electro sound that is taking over.
