Justice – Canon Remixes...

Ed Banger dropped both the Tiga and Erol Alkan Remixes for Justice’s “Canon” today in preparation for their On’n'On EP to be released on the 30th.

Both of these remixes take Justice’s intentions of rhythmic experimentation and extreme progression and go a step further. The Erol Alkan remix as with most of his remixes is “extended” so it’s long as shit (6 min. not really but for the original 3 minute song) but well worth it. The dude adds some very interesting percussive elements to the prog. rock song as well as giving it a more club-friendly sound with the rumbling engine-like bass that dominates the song.

Both of the tracks are private so no embedding for now :(

Tiga took a different approach and went ham on the sample stuttering or so it sounds like. He may have gathered some inspiration from "AraabMUZIK” as the chorus of the original song is chopped up and played back rhythmically for another interesting take on Justice’s fourth single.

Stayed tuned for the EP where remixes from THE Rick Rubin, “Brodinski” and Video Village also appear in the package.
