EDM’s Soccer World Cup...
Two of the biggest countries in EDM, Sweden and the Netherlands, constantly produce big names with bigger tracks. The argument for which country is better at what they do can hardly be settled, but a solution may have been found. Tomorrow, March 21st they will battle it out on a soccer pitch. That’s right, some of EDM’s biggest names have an athletic side. Showcasing their abilities will be Tiësto, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Sidney Samson, Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso, Dada Life, and more.
Team Netherlands will be captained by Tiësto, and team Sweden by Sebastian Ingrosso. The game will be shortened to two 30-minute halves. Each team will have custom jerseys with their nations colors. The jerseys will be auctioned at the end of the event and all proceeds will go to (RED) an organization that helps fund research for AIDS in Africa. The event will be filmed and interviews will be conducted. The footage can be found on (RED)’s YouTube channel.
