DJ Sneak “Gangsters Paradise EP” ...

So it turns out there is a place for “gangsters” in house music.  DJ Sneak, the man behind the “I’m A House Gangster” movement, notorious for calling out the likes of Swedish House Mafia (and most recently Armand Van Helden) for taking advantage of their popularity power to promote EDM instead of “Real House Music” has started up his own label and you can guess its name.  The fact is, I’m all for DJ Sneak calling out some of the legends for being anything but legendary, they deserve it, and Sneak has been in the game long enough to be a fair judge.  He could be a little bit nicer or constructive in his ways, but you know what, maybe that’s what this label is about.  The first release is 4 brand new DJ Sneak originals, all of them are classified as nothing but beautiful House Music.  While I wouldn’t say any of these are necessarily classics, they are all excellent examples of the power of House music, and something all fans of the true genre can enjoy.  Peep all 4 tracks, and ask yourself, are you a House Gangster or are you into that EDM shit?
